Justice. SH KAPADIA is the present Chief Justice of Indian SUPREME COURT.
He is the 38th CJI and he assumed on 12th May 2010 and continues in the office till now.

The former CJI KG Balakrishnan , occupies the post of the Chairman of National Human Rights Commission.
